Here is the Studio A.M. logo and slogan “Up Late/Up Early”.
*NOTE*: Neither Baron Batch, Chef Steve nor Studio A.M. asked me to write this post. I am just a MindfulPGHFoodie and Yogini, who enjoys sharing her foodie and yoga adventures with others. Photos captured with an iPhone 7s, and were edited with Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended and Instagram.
*ALSO*: Studio A.M. is on the hunt for a new space! While they are doing that, the brunches and Thai Thursday have been paused. Please stay tuned to my Twitter account (@lauraelizabethj) and Instagram (mindfulpghfoodie) for updates on the new location!
Back in February, I met up with Tasha of The Food Tasters and Eat Local Shop Small, and Amanda Narcisi of BOLD Pittsburgh for a Food Blogger brunch at Studio A.M. (at the time, located in the Homestead neighborhood of Pittsburgh). I had been to Studio A.M. once for a special Chef’s dinner with Chef Steve (Baron Batch‘s in-house Chef, and Executive Chef of Studio A.M.) and Jamilka Borges (now the Executive Chef of The Independent Brewing Company, Hidden Harbor and Loreli). Thus, I was excited to see what Chef Steve & the Studio A.M. crew were cooking up for brunch!
Here is what Studio A.M. was offering on this particular Sunday in February! $30 for all of this is a good deal! 😀
Course #1: Green Beans, Pineapple, Strawberries & Bacon! Heavenly! ❤
Shared amongst Amanda, Tasha & me: Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Creme Anglaise French Toast! I brought some of the French Toast home for my Mom; she said it was AMAZING!
Another brunch dish of the day: Buttermilk Mini Biscuits with Sausage Gravy! I didn’t get a chance to try these (as I am trying my best to be #DairyFree & #GrainFree right now), but both Tasha and Amanda LOVED this dish!

Course #2: Orange Ginger Shrimp and Grits! I did try the shrimp; it was cooked and prepared to PERFECTION!

An off-menu item (just for us food bloggers) that ended up being my FAVORITE brunch dish: Vegetable Pad Thai (a little “Thai Thursday” preview for us)!

Well there you have it, folks! Whether it’s one of the weekend brunches or a Thai Thursday, I HIGHLY recommend Studio A.M. as a premier dining destination here in Pittsburgh! Once Studio A.M. has found its new home, I will let you know!
