Course #1 (as part of Hyde Park’s Prime Steakhouse Pittsburgh Restaurant Week menu): Tomato Bisque (with croutons)! This might just have been THE best Tomato Bisque I’ve EVER had!
*NOTE*: Neither Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse nor Pittsburgh Restaurant Week asked me to write this post. I am just a Friendly Pittsburgh Foodie and Yogini, who enjoys sharing her foodie and yoga adventures with others! Photos captured on my iPhone 7s. They were edited with both Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended and Instagram.
Back during the Summer time, two of my co-workers and I went to Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse (on the North Shore of Pittsburgh) for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week! If you’re unfamiliar with Pittsburgh Restaurant Week, several restaurants participate in both the Winter and Summer sessions. Each restaurant (besides offering its regular menus) also offers a Prix-Fix/multi-course menu, ranging anywhere from $20-$35+ dollars for the total meal price. This is meant to encourage diners to try a new restaurant (and this is a also a great way for a restaurant to develop new patrons who will return for the full menu). Here is the rest of our dinner (all items from the Prix-Fixe Pittsburgh Restaurant Week menu):
Course #2: Atlantic Salmon with sauteed spinach, roasted garlic whipped potatoes, and a lemon crystal citrus sauce. This was sooooo good! 😀
A close-up of the main course (she’s a beauty)! ❤
Course #3: Flourless Chocolate Torte! Semi-sweet, glazed with dark chocolate, Bailey’s creme anglaise and port wine reduction! DELISH! ❤
Well there you have it, folks! The ambiance was spectacular, and the service was very friendly! I highly recommend dining at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse for either lunch or dinner!
